pics of custom stainless pipe
« on: August 22, 2008, 10:41:18 PM »
looks good and sounds real deep,,, the core is twisted in the silencer so it gives it a deep sound while staying 50mm,,, the pipe is 44mm out of the head then swells to 50mm after the first bend

Nice! I see you ride your 700 quite a bit (clutch cover paint coming off ;))

How hard was the installation?

(I am raising the attachment size limit as we speak)

Yer,,, some of the areas we ride they make us carry extinguishers,,,,
The dynojet was really easy to install,,, bit tricky getting to the tps wire!!!!! but the rest was just plug in..
It comes with a base map the will run a stock bike.
you can do basic changes across all ranges,, and for now that will do me,, I incresed the botton end and mid range by 4% and the top end by 6%.
All I have is the stanless pipe ( 50mm ) and the top of my air box cut off,,,, I cut the top instead of removing it as I cross deep rivers sometimes and that extra inch under the seat may just save me from taking in a big mouthful of water..
the dynojrt also has a cd rom and a usb cable so you can get real tecko,,, looks like with a laptop you can get rite into it !!! real fine tuning,, also can down load programs from dynojet..
you can also jack in ignition contolers
pretty amazing stuff !!!!
Not alot of money ether really,,, and these bikes been green stcker, stupid cali emission laws!!  diffently need a way to tune them..
My pipe looks and fits perfect,,, my mate that built it builds exhausts for road racing teams,, stanless has such a nice deep sound

That looks just about like any pipe you can buy! It looks really good on there!

I was curious about the dynojet commander; I have one that is supposed to be here tomorrow.

I put an HMF on mine and it is pretty lean, especially on top, so I'm hoping the new maps will help to correct it.
