Hello, new member here from Texas. Got the chance to demo a 700xx yesterday at the local honda shop. It is a bad ass machine. I have been riding Honda's best for over 25 years. I hav e owned 250r's,200x's,350x's, 400ex's, and now i am undecided. I joined the forum  hoping to get some help from you guys. I had been leaning towards a new 450r, but with no reverse and riding mainly in trails in the woods, I gave the 700xx a try. I was impressed. All  I need is a little confidence boost to ensure me that I will be doing the right thing by buying one. Any help anyone can give me will be appreciated.

This post may be too late, but I'm here to ensure you that the 700xx is a sure winner.  The only real drawback that I have found after owning mine for a month is the body roll due to the IRS.  This can be fixed, though.  You can make minor adjustments but there is also aftermarket parts that will make the handling much better to the 700xx.  They used these on the quads at Baja and came away winners.  I have a lot of different terrain to ride on around home and the 700xx conquers it all and then rules when I take it on the open road.  Advice when looking at other sources is to beware when reading forums or other comments about the quad from anyone who has never taken it for a ride because reading those got me side tracked from the 700xx and after I did get one and rode it all my worries about the machine disappeared in a hurry.

All the guys that have bought one and ride it, will tell you the 700xx is the best trail bike going.  It will not beat you up on a long days trail ride, it will go places that the other sport bikes cannot and you'll love the fact that while your buddies are dragging their quads around on a trail you'll just back up and be on your way.  Do not believe the Magazines out there.  Ride one and you'll be converted.
