Adjusting preload??

Hey all , anyone try adjusting their preload on the front springs? I think i might give it a shot and see if it helps cornering a little better. Thought i would try and get some feedback from anyone that has tried it first.

Im thinking of putting the front shocks off my 07 450r onto my XX,,, at speed my front bottoms out !!! and the recoill is way to fast !! its like riding a water bed,, the front end diffently is the weak link in this bikes handling

I have some front shocks from my friends Suzuki 450 that I am going to try and fit on.  The Ressies  might hit the plastic.

The front shocks are adjustable in the preload. Just turn the big nut up or down, havent tried it yet. After riding it more i kinda like them once you get used to it.
