after reading the posts on the engine coming apart, does the engine have a top end oiling problem ? i would like to avoid a future engine detonation. i am a mechanic but really don't want to have to repair a new engine in this 4 wheeler due to a factory flaw. my question is was there enough oil in it to start with and how about the rest of the fluids, may be good to do a once over on it to make sure.

I really don't think there is a flaw or problem with the top end oiling on this machine. The isolated incident looked to be a major malfunction, With the extent of damage and not hearing a rod or bearing knock before hand proves this.
