How will it respond to mods?
« on: May 05, 2008, 09:46:25 AM »
Has anybody tried modding their 700xx?

I wonder how it will respond to exhaust, air filter, EFI controller, and maybe a cam... If it is anything like the 450r, it will become a whole new beast.  ;D

its a 700 honda... ofcourse it will respond good to mods. hodna corks up all of its quads from the factory, a 700 would be even more corked.

At this point, only FMF is showing a slip on pipe and an EFI controller for the XX. I honestly don't know if they are even available yet. I've been checking around at HMF and Two Bro's sites, they aren't showing anything yet. It looks like Two Bros definitely helps the low and midrange the most based off of their dyno charts for other quads. About a 4-6 hp gain in that 3.5-5 thousand rpm range. Does anyone have an opinion on Two Brothers pipes? They look like a very good product. I think that I'm gonna get some Fasst Flexx bars as soon as someone makes a dash panel or clamp setup to receive the lights. That will help make the front end as smooth as the tail on that baby!
