NNJ Newbie

Greetings!
Just hopped on board with an 08 in black.
Been having some awesome gittin' ta know ya' sessions with the quad!
Very nice, 'till the snow settled in....so I loppped on a set of tire chains, and I'm back to smilin'.
The chains do it.  Like 4wd now.  Unbelievable on ice.
Kinda been lurking here for a while reading about 13t sprockets and engine bogging issues, since these were the first thoughts I had when I rode 'baby' through the woods trails here.
The bogging was very evident in the slick snow, but after I installed chains, she never bogged again  ;D.
So, on to the 13t sprocket installed yesterday, and can't wait to see how she behaves now!
Itching to ride!!

That's a nice 700 man. So the chains really do help?

Once they're fit, they're awesome.
Climbs right up an ice ledge.
They got that v-bar thingy...

...and as far as the bogging issue (felt like an EFI fault)...it seems the chains put a resistance on the drivetrain and the engine stayed loaded.  The bogging went away.
I did put the 13t on it and it does unload the engine, but it sure purrrs along real nice on the trails I have  here.
