Hey people, new bloke hear from London UK. I'm an Africa Twin 750 rider, or was until recently. I picked up some real serious injuries when a truck took me out. Now I'm looking at the TRX700 as I can't manage the big bike any longer.

So here is my question. My ride to the mountains of Europe is around 600 miles each way. Can the TRX cut it with that kind of distance?. The Africa Twin cruises at around 85/90,what could I expect cruising and what kind of fuel economy can I get with this kind of riding ? Thanx in advance Sohoeasy !

Hey man, welcome to the forum. I can't give you exact numbers on the gas mileage but the XX can definitely ride that kind of distance.

Check out that link. The 700xx is being raced in all of the Baja races and it is doing very well, it actually got 1st and 3rd place in the Baja 500.

Whoaa ! Thanx for the reply mate. Can't wait to get one now. (It's not officially a UK model, so, next step I need to find a dealer that can supply one).I'll be along again soon no doubt with questions about aux' fuel set ups  ;)
