« on: August 10, 2008, 11:09:55 AM »
do you guys think there would be any interest in people buying my stock tires and rims? i dont really ride trails i ride sand so my paddles are good enough until i want to do some trail riding and by then there should be aftermarket rims and tires. they are basically new. have about 18 hours on them. no dents, bends, about 95%tread. minor scuffing on one front rim. wadda ya think?

dont know how much to ask. that is why i was sort of asking here. see what interest there is and how much i should sell them for. if it was too cheap i would just keep them. anyway what do you think i should ask?

$200?

If so let me know. I've got a sidewall plug in my left front tire now. :(

Yep, $200 for everything.

I sidewall plus is what you put in your tire when you hit a rock really hard and it pinches, or cuts the sidewall of the tire and leaks all the air out. The plug is this goey fuberus thing that you shove in there and it hold the air. The good thing is that it holds air, the bad thing is that the plugs stick out and can get pulled out by other rocks or anything else that the tire can rub up against.

You would NEVER want to put a plug in or anywhere near the sidewall of a car or truck tire as it would most likely either leak or cause catastrophic tire failure.

Yeah, Honda is VERY proud of their parts the front rims are very common and can be bought on ebay pretty cheap. The rears are the only odd item out, but even aftermarket rims and tires would be less.
