« on: April 28, 2008, 08:25:25 PM »
Ok these are preliminaries with slicks on at 5940 ft above sea level. I cant seem to load pics on the website. Ill try and get it figured out.
Peak Hp  45.97 @ 6900
Peak tq   36.03 @ 6150

Aside from can am renegade these are the highest ive ever gotten on a sport style bike.

46 HP sounds pretty descent. Figure if you open the engine up alittle with an exhaust and inj./ingnition mod, easily over 50 HP.
Looks like the 53 HP @ the crank must be true?
To post a pic, just host it on "photobucket"

Have you ever dynoed a stock TRX450R on the same dyno? (either 05 and older or 06 and newer.) Just curious how the two compare on the same dyno.

a 2006 450r at this altitude puts out 36-37 rear wheel horse. An hrc kit puts it at 40-41. Kbr 511 kit runs 56.5 on pump gas. Remember these are at 5950 ft. Above sea level. So lower elevations will see more hp. Put a k&n on intake tube and gained 1-2 hp all around. I think this bike will respond well to an exhaust.

Thanks for the info. What was the torque on the 450R's? I think they are right around 30 or so stock. Sounds like this motor should have some potential though!
